COVID Pandemic Taskforce

The Coronavirus Action Program (CAP) is a remarkable program that focused on the purchase and delivery of masks, gloves, food, and more to support community residents.

Community Organizing

We fight to ensure that Black and Latinx job seekers have access to jobs that pay family-sustaining wages, offer opportunities for career advancement, and remove the barriers that create unequal challenges for communities of color when they enter the workforce.

Workforce Development

We fight to ensure that Black and Latinx job seekers have access to jobs that pay family-sustaining wages, offer opportunities for career advancement, and remove the barriers that create unequal challenges for communities of color when they enter the workforce.

Mutal Aid

We believe that providing resources in most needing communities is voluntary, reciprocal, and not based on who is deserving/not deserving.

Education

Education is key. Our rich Afro- Latino history is not part of our youth’s curriculum, let alone acknowledged. We aim to teach communities about our racial and cultural identity, our contribution to society, and the milestones we have accomplished.

The Arts!

Throughout our history, art has been a driving force in activism, rebellion, protest, joy, liberation, and expression.
